GROUNDED is a café run by local residents of Barking and Dagenham. It is a coffee co-operative business that offers specialised coffee in a beautiful setting based at the Wilds at Barking Riverside.

The café is brought to you by a collaboration between Barking Riverside Limited and Every One Every Day. These organisations invited local residents to a summer course lasting five weeks, where participants learned everything there is to know about the art of coffee making and how to run a café.

The café pioneers an environmental approach, encouraging customers to use keep-cups rather than one time use take away cups.
